Evidence Based Programming: there are varying types of evidence when it comes to assessing the efficacy of programs. Evidence that is rooted in empirical research and data, using controlled studies where program effectiveness is examined by comparing a treatment group with a control group, are considered the “gold standard,” for producing reliable evidence, as little is left to chance.
