Public Notice: Limited Seating at Governmental Center for July 14 and July 15 Public Hearings

Palm Beach County is anticipating a high level of public participation at the upcoming Zoning Board of County Commissioners public hearings on July 14 and July 15, 2026, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The hearings will be conducted from the:

Robert Weisman Governmental Center
301 N. Olive Avenue, 6th Floor – Commission Chambers
West Palm Beach, FL 33401

The Commission Chambers have limited capacity and can comfortably accommodate less than 150 people. Based on the anticipated turnout, seating inside the chambers is expected to fill quickly. Once capacity is reached, attendees may be directed to overflow areas outside the chambers or to other floors within the Governmental Center, where seating and space will also be limited.

To provide the public with additional seating and a more comfortable way to participate, Palm Beach County will also make the following public hearing location available:

Vista Center – Hearing Room
2300 N. Jog Road
West Palm Beach, FL 33411

Members of the public attending at Vista Center will be able to watch the meeting live, provide public comment, and participate fully in the public hearing process. The same hearing procedures and opportunities to address the board will apply at both locations.

The Vista Center location will provide additional seating and a more comfortable meeting environment while offering the same opportunity to speak, participate, and have testimony included in the official public record.

Attendance at Vista Center will not affect how public comments are received or considered by the Board of County Commissioners. Every speaker, regardless of location, will have the same opportunity to be heard.

Residents attending either location are encouraged to arrive early to allow sufficient time for parking, check-in, and seating. Palm Beach County appreciates the community's patience, cooperation, and continued participation in the public hearing process.
