Welcome to the Palm Beach County Department of Airports Noise Abatement Office webpage. This site is dedicated to the Noise Programs at each of our airports. Our goal is to familiarize you with the department, to give you a general overview of the programs, provide information about our current noise rules and our ongoing noise abatement and mitigation projects and link you to other related web sites for even more information.
The Noise Abatement Office oversees the enforcement of all noise related rules and regulations and the implementation of noise abatement programs at
Palm Beach International Airport (Commercial Service), North Palm Beach County Airport (General Aviation), and Palm Beach County Park Lantana Airport (General Aviation).
While Palm Beach International Airport's total mission is to meet the increasing demand for aviation related services from Palm Beach County's 1.5 million strong and growing population with high quality airport facilities in a safe and cost effective manner, it is Noise Abatement's responsibility to enhance this mission by promoting noise control programs that are for the betterment of all airport neighbors - both residents and businesses.
