The Palm Beach County Section 108 Loan Program is administered by the Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development and funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Loans are provided with fixed or floating rates and with terms between seven and 20 years, depending on the project. Loan amounts vary, but cannot exceed 40% of the total project cost. Eligible uses for Section 108 Loans include: acquisition of land or real property; new construction or rehabilitation of commercial and industrial buildings; purchase and installation of machinery, equipment, and fixtures; working capital; lines of credit; and the refinancing of existing debt (as part of a new project).
Section 108 Loan funded projects must yield public benefits and create new jobs.
