Dredging Project COMPLETED APRIL 2021
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in partnership the Jupiter Inlet District and with the Florida Inland Navigation District performed maintenance dredging of the Intracoastal Waterway and Jupiter Inlet where approximately 210,000 cubic yards of sand was placed in the northern Jupiter/Carlin project area.
Nourishment Project
COMPLETED JANUARY 2020
ERM's Beaches Program managed a nourishment project to replace areas of the beachfront lost during Hurricane Irma. Approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sand was pumped onshore and formed into a 1.05 mile long restored beach spanning from south of Jupiter Inlet to the southern boundary of Carlin Park.
