Along the Path Exhibition​



Palm Beach International Airport, in partnership with Palm Beach County Art in Public Places, invites you to “Along the Path” exhibition which runs through May 7, 2025.

The exhibition’s featured photographs, paintings, collage and mixed media works were selected by a Selection Panel including members of Palm Beach County’s Public Art Committee and a representative from PBI. Elayna Toby Singer, Palm Beach County Art in Public Places Administrator is the PBI Art Gallery’s Curator.

The show features works by 15 artists who call the Palm Beaches home. Featured artworks reflect life’s varied passages and meanderings.

Centrally located on level 2 in the atrium near the putting green, the PBI Art Gallery’s pre-security location encourages passengers and locals to stop by to discover unique artistic expressions by locally and internationally renowned artists.​

The Unknown Path is Never Straight

Whilst walking through a woodland in upstate New York on a late November afternoon, I came upon this wending, oddly-angled walking path of weathered wooden planks glazed subtly with slanted autumn light, that seemed to start curiously out of nowhere and disappeared rather mysteriously, even ominously, into the woods. In addition to what seemed a slightly surreal photographic composition, it also struck me as a visual metaphor for the psychological, emotional, sometimes perilous journey we all must take individually and societally, often bravely so, into the unknown future awaiting us.

In South Florida's natural environment there are so many magical things to see if we slow down and observe the magnificence around us. We live in a very high paced area. My lens helps me pause and connect with nature's simplicity and grandeur along my journey.
