Reservations are required for ALL programs (unless otherwise noted). All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program.
Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, recreation, and educate on health and wellness in the community.

Saturdays, 1:00 p.m. All ages, FREE (Reservations not required) During feeding time, listen to a short talk about one of Daggerwing’s resident animals.
MARCHINTRO TO ARCHERYSaturday, March 1, 10:30 a.m. Adults and children ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required) Join USA Archery certified staff and learn about the exciting sport of archery. This program teaches archery safety, skills, and proper use of a bow and arrow before practicing on the range. Equipment is provided. Note: Bows may be difficult to pull for smaller children.
MOTHER NATURE & ME: BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES Tuesday, March 4, 10:30 a.m. Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required) Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

MOTHER NATURE & ME: START YOUR GARDEN Tuesday, March 18, 10:30 a.m. Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required) Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers! NIGHT HIKE Tuesday, March 25, 7:00 p.m. Adults and children ages 8+, $5/participant (Reservations required) Ever wondered what Daggerwing’s boardwalk would be like after dark? First, learn about nocturnal animals in our classroom, and then join a naturalist on a tour of the boardwalk at night!
BIRDING: BIRDS OF PREY Saturday, March 29, 10:30 a.m. Adults and children ages 5+, $5/participant (Reservations required) Join a naturalist for a family-friendly program focusing on birds of prey and what makes them different from other types of birds.

SPECIAL EVENT: GOPHER TORTOISE DAY Thursday, April 10, 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. All ages, FREE (Reservations not required) Celebrate Gopher Tortoise Day at Daggerwing Nature Center! Learn about these native reptiles and the importance of protecting this keystone species. This special event will feature coloring sheets, informational brochures, and special presentations with our very own gopher tortoise, Fritz!

This special event will feature live animal encounters, interactive activities, plant sale, ladybug release, crafts and much more! *Some activities involve minimal cash or check donation to Friends of Daggerwing Nature Center.
