Reservations are required for ALL programs (unless otherwise noted). All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program.

Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, recreation and educate on health and wellness in the community.

Skill Development: Participants learn new skills and improve existing ones, enhancing their overall competence and confidence.

NOTICE: Effective October 1, 2025, all payments made with a credit or debit card (online or in-person) will incur a 3.0% service fee. This fee is assessed and collected by the credit card processor, not by Palm Beach County. No service fee will be assessed on payments made by check or cash. Service fees are non-refundable.

BIRD TALK & TOUR: BIRDS OF PREY
Saturday, November 8, 9:30 a.m.
All ages, $5/participant (Reservations required, limit 20)
Start the day off with a Florida bird presentation followed by a one-hour birding tour with one of our naturalists. Bring binoculars and your field guide if you have them.

NIGHT STALKERS
Wednesday, November 19, 6:00 p.m.
Ages 9+, $5/participant (Reservations required, limit 20)
Join a naturalist on a nighttime boardwalk tour looking at nature from the point of view of its nocturnal residents. Flashlights are recommended, but not required.

ARCHERY 101
Saturday, November 22, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required, limit 12) 
Join a USA Archery Certified Instructor to learn the basics of archery and develop a fun new skill! This 1.5-hour program will start with a demonstration followed by target practice! All equipment provided, please wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and sun protection as it takes place outdoors. 
 
ANIMAL KEEPER FOR A DAY

Ever wondered what it would be like to be an animal keeper? Work behind the scenes with animal care staff and volunteers to find out. It can be a dirty job but the most rewarding!

WILDLIFE CELEBRATION

Come celebrate sharing spaces with migrating birds for the 2025 World Migratory Bird Day. It will be fun for everyone.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of plants with a focus on southern Florida’s native flora, including wildflowers, trees and shrubs. Through a presentation and guided walk, you'll explore plant anatomy, gain practical skills for identifying native species in their natural habitats and deepen your appreciation of Florida’s unique botanical treasures. Guest presenter: Jackie Arell, Riverbend Park Naturalist
