Miniature or Pot Bellied Pigs

The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) has initiated discussions regarding the keeping of miniature or pot bellied pigs as pets. Under current Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) provisions, miniature or pot bellied pigs are considered livestock and may only be kept on properties designated for bona fide agricultural uses. Note: Please see other related news release regarding the keeping of livestock in the Rural and Exurban Tiers.
