Study Materials for the Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance (LCLM) & the Limited Lawn & Ornamental (LLO) Pesticide Applicator Licenses
Applying and testing for the
Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance Pesticide Applicator License requires applicants to have completed nearly 6 hours of approved instruction to obtain continuing education units (CEUs). Proof of these CEUs must be submitted with an application package and payment to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to be eligible for testing. The LCLM license allows the application of non-restricted pesticides to ornamentals in landscapes, but not in turf. It does allow edging of turf with non-restricted herbicides. Sometimes this is called the "Roundup License" by many in the landscape maintenance industry.
The
Limited Lawn and Ornamental Pesticide Applicator License does allow the addition of turf treatments.
