Representatives from PZB's Building Division recently visited Trades and Construction Management students at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth Beach to share insights about the Division's role in protecting public safety and supporting construction in unincorporated Palm Beach County.
Staff provided an overview of the permitting and inspection process and discussed the important work performed by building inspectors, plans examiners, and other team members who help ensure structures are built safely and in compliance with the Florida Building Code.
It was a great opportunity to connect with students, answer questions, and highlight potential career paths at the Planning, Zoning and Building Department.
