To Our Residents and Construction Partners:Florida House Bill 803 recently became law and provides permit exemptions for certain work valued at less than $7,500 on single-family homes.However, these exemptions do NOT apply within Palm Beach County. Why?Because the law excludes properties located within flood hazard areas, and all of Palm Beach County is designated as a flood hazard area under the Florida Building Code.What This Means:Current permit requirements remain unchanged in Palm Beach County.If you have questions about whether a permit is required for your project, our team is here to help.
