Register today to participate in an 8-week Golf Clinic for People with Visual Impairments at the John Prince Park Golf Learning Center.
Space is limited. Blind Golf is a team sport where a player and a coach work as one to compete against others in the field. When a blind or visually impaired person is introduced to the game of golf, labels and barriers disappear. Goals are attained. Accomplishments are earned.
-Athletes do not need any prior experience or equipment. With the assistance of the LPGA Master Professional you will learn the fundamentals of golf including chipping, driving, putting, positioning, and club selection.
-It is recommended to bring a sighted volunteer to assist you in learning the sport. Volunteers will walk the player to the ball, learn to describe the shot and distance, help with club selection, positioning, and aligning the player and the club to the ball. Please notify staff upon registering if you will need us to provide a volunteer to assist you during the clinic.
