Community Greening Tent at a tree giveaway event​Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025, 10:00 AM until supplies run out.

Location: Tanner Park Center, 105 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, South Bay, FL 33493​

Details: Glades community members can come out to Tanner Park Center in South Bay and take home three FREE trees to plant in their yard! There will be options of both Florida native shade trees and fruit species. Trees will be passed out on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of THREE trees per household (1 fruit tree max). For more details, click HERE.

Glades Pioneer Park Tree Planting​​

Community Greening Tree Planting event Date: May 3, 2025, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
​Location: Glades Pioneer Park, 866 SW 16th Street, Belle Glade, FL 33430
Details: We're partnering with Community Greening to plant over 100 native shade trees at Glades Pioneer Park, and we need YOUR help to get them in the ground! Community Greening Arborists and our trained Tree Technicians will be on hand to lead the group, and guide/assist volunteers. No experience needed, and all skill levels and physical capabilities welcomed. Community Greening will provide all of the tools needed, have work gloves to borrow, as well as water and light snacks.
