Time: 8 am to 11 am
Directions: From I-95 exit at 45th Street - head west to Haverhill Road - turn right and head north on Haverhill Road for roughly 2 miles to Dyer Blvd. – turn left and enter the south Dyer Park gates – drive west and parking lot entrance is on the left.
Additional Information: We will be removing invasive weeds from recently restored areas – this includes the area planted during Natural Areas Festival. We will also do some trash removal, after the weeding is completed. Volunteers should wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty. Restroom facilities are available at Dyer Park. The Department will supply tools, gloves and refreshments. Event participation is limited to the first 12 volunteers who register.
Registration:The Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management has four volunteer projects scheduled in June. The volunteer projects are designed for volunteers ages 16 and older. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
