Duration: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. (Please arrive no later than 8:10 a.m. – we are loading volunteers into trucks and driving to the work area)
Directions: From I-95 exit at Indiantown Road (SR 706) – head west for roughly 3.5 miles on Indiantown Road to 120th Ave. N - this is an intersection with a traffic light – Mack Dairy Road is on the right and 120th Ave. N is on the left – turn left onto 120th Ave. N and travel south for roughly 3 miles to the end of the road - look for a white County truck to locate parking area and volunteer meeting area.
Additional Information: We will be working in areas that might be a little wet and/or muddy. Poison ivy is found at this natural area. Please wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts. Restroom facilities are not available at this site. The Department will supply tools, gloves, and refreshments. Event participation limited to the first 12 volunteers who register.
Register:The volunteer projects are designed for volunteers ages 16 and older. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
