Reservations are required for ALL programs (unless otherwise noted). All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program.
Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, recreation, and educate on health and wellness in the community.

Online - Select the “Online Services” tab at the top of this page and click on Register/Pay for Program; Login with your username and password. (New users must create a household account online-please follow online instructions)
In Person - Visit the nature center during operating hours.

APRIL
BIRD TALK & TOUR: JUNIOR BIRDING 101 Saturday, April 5, 9:30 a.m. All ages, $5/participant (Reservations required, limit 20) Start the day off with a Florida bird presentation followed by a one-hour birding tour with one of our naturalists. Bring binoculars and your field guide if you have them.
BUTTERFLY TALK & TOUR Saturday, April 12, 9:30 a.m. All ages, $5/participant (Reservations required, limit 20)
Join a naturalist as we learn about the butterflies found in South Florida. Then take a guided tour of our butterfly garden!
ANIMAL KEEPER FOR A DAY Saturday, March 8, 9:30 a.m. Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required, limit 8) Ever wondered what it would be like to be an animal keeper? Work behind the scenes with animal care staff and volunteers to find out. It can be a dirty job but the most rewarding! ARCHERY 101 Saturday, April 19, 10:00 a.m. Ages 9+, $10/participant (Reservations required, limit 12) Join a USA Archery Certified Instructor to learn the basics of archery and develop a fun new skill! This 1.5-hour program will start with a demonstration followed by target practice! All equipment provided, please wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and sun protection as it takes place outdoors.
NIGHT STALKERS Wednesday, April 23, 7:30 p.m. Ages 9+, $5/participant (Reservations required, limit 20) Join a naturalist on a nighttime boardwalk tour looking at nature from the point of view of its nocturnal residents. Flashlights are recommended, but not required.
GUIDED CITIZEN SCIENCE BOARDWALK TOUR – CITY NATURE CHALLENGE 2025: SOUTH FLORIDA #CNCSOFLO Friday, April 25, 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 9:30 a.m. All ages, FREE (No reservations required, limit 20) Learn about the City Nature Challenge 2025 as you explore and upload nature photos to iNaturalist. Help us show off South Florida's amazing biodiversity by photographing wildlife, plants and any other living organisms you can find! For more details, please visit www.cncsoflo.com.
