Personal Photography and Videography
Park visitors are welcome to take photographs and/or videos on designated park paths and picnic areas during normal operating hours (daily, sunrise-sunset). All participants must stay in designated areas at all times and no items, props or materials may be placed in areas that interfere with regular park use.

Professional Photography and Photo Sessions
  • A permit is required for a business to conduct professional photography sessions within the parks.
  • An application must be competed and submitted for review and approval.
    • Allow five (5) business days for processing from date of application submittal.
  • Photography permits may be obtained for either Daily or Annual use.
  • Photography Permits are for Private Professional Photography Sessions.
    • ​​Engagement, marriage proposal or couples photos
    • ​Group or family portraits
    • ​Life milestone photos (birthdays, anniversaries, etc)
    • ​Personal portfolio photos
    • ​School projects
  • Daily Photography permit
    • ​$50.00 plus tax
    • ​Valid for a single photography session for up to three (3) hours at one park location.
  • Annual Photography permit
    • ​​$150.00 plus tax
    • ​Valid January 1 through December 31 of the calendar year they are purchased.
    • ​Fees are NOT prorated.
    • ​Allows for multiple day sessions at multiple parks with multiple clients.
    • ​Sessions may not exceed three (3) hours per day, per park.
    • ​Permit covers only one photographer. Businesses using multiple photographers will need to obtain a separate permit for each photographer.
Commercial Photography and Filming
The following includes, but is not limited to categories that are considered to be commercial projects and must meet specific requirements:
  • Photos that appear in advertisements, calendars, catalogs, guidebooks, magazines, or other published print.
  • Filming for educational, instructional, or documentary videos, television advertisements and commercials, television programs, infomercials, and movies
  • Permits for use of parks, associated fees and scheduling are coordinated through the FTC.
  • Groups or individuals interested in scheduling a commercial photography or film shoot at a county park should contact the Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission at 561-233-1000​
