Commissioner Marci Woodward is a 20-year resident of Boca Raton and was elected in November 2022 as
Palm Beach County District 4 Commissioner.
Building
stronger bridges between city, county, and state governments is central
to Commissioner Woodward's
leadership. Representing 13 diverse municipalities, she brings together
local stakeholders to tackle pressing issues, particularly in
transportation and traffic. She’s equally committed to enhancing the
local workforce pipeline by collaborating with CareerSource,
business leaders, and educational partners, ensuring residents benefit
from new job opportunities from relocating companies. Her dedication to
responsible growth drives her efforts to preserve environmentally
sensitive and agricultural lands, balancing progress
with conservation across Palm Beach County.
Woodward
cares deeply for her community and remains dedicated to representing
the people of Palm Beach
County. She maintains an open-door policy and welcomes the community's
input. Moreover, she looks forward to assisting her constituents and
open communication concerning policy, services, and programs.

Woodward
was born in South Carolina and is married to her high school
sweetheart, Michael Woodward.
She graduated from the University of South Carolina-Aiken with a
Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. They have an active outdoor lifestyle
and enjoy the county's beautiful natural environments and parks with
their dogs Zoey, Fritz, Pepper, and Harvey.
